My husband and I were so excited to introduce our little one into the waters. Before flying to the Philippines to spend our Holidays, as first time parents, we really looked for items that we must have and our 6 month old could safely use.
We looked for advices online and of course — the opinions of her pediatrician if she could really start to swim in the pool and in the beach (well.. just another newbie parents curiosities 😅).
So, we were advised to get an effective sunscreen for babies since they have more sensitive skin. Then, if possible, to get her a swimsuit with UV protection or anything that could help her be protected under the sun and to carefully look after her during our swims.
I had a hard time looking for a swimsuit with long-sleeves that could fit a 6 month old so, we just ended up buying baby swimsuits from Decathlon. The materials are still made to protect the wearer but the style is not exactly what I was looking for.
Later on, I saw an Instagram reel that has a baby lounging in the pool with his floater and its sunshield. So, I instantly looked for it online. At first, I was thinking that it is too expensive for something that my baby’s going to use for just a short period of time. I found some inflatable alternatives but my husband isn’t really convinced of its quality and safety.
After thinking about it, we finally decided to get the Mambobaby floater that we saw on that reel. We read really good reviews about the product, and they seemed all so true. So, we were convinced. Plus! The designs and colors that they have are really-really cute!

Available in different colors: pastel pink, baby blue, and green, and in different designs such as a soccer ball, duck, avocado, bee, butterfly, and what we bought for our little one: a mermaid🧜♀️.
We really enjoyed introducing the waters to our baby girl as much as she enjoyed using her floater from Mambobaby!
At first, she was unhappy when I put her tiny toes to play in the pool but, when her Papa and I decided to get in the pool with her (accompanied by singing and entertainment ofc 😅😂) she started liking it. Then, slowly-slowly, we put her in her floater and we’re glad that she got used to it and had fun during our swims. 🥰
A float from Mambobaby is really a MUST-HAVE swimming gear for every baby! 🙌💕 I swear that it’s really worth-it! 👌
Reasons to love this floater:

- It is Lightweight
- All it’s Safety Features
- UV Safe
- Non-Inflatable (in case of accidents)
- Really cute designs
