Held, Even in the In-Between

There’s a quiet kind of friendship that doesn’t need constant physical presence to remain strong. The kind that survives busy calendars, full schedules, and months without sitting across from each other in the same room. 🗓️ ✨

We still talk. We react to each other’s posts. We send the occasional message. We keep up through stories and small updates in between our very real lives. But actually seeing each other? That can take months. 🫣

Life fills up. Responsibilities grow. New roles take shape. And yet, when we finally meet again, it’s easy. Natural. Like no time has passed at all.

There’s no awkwardness. No need to over-explain where we’ve been. Just laughter that comes quickly and conversations that slip comfortably into place.

Growth changes us. 🪴

Distance stretches us. 💪🏽

But true friendships stretch without breaking. ♾️

They allow space for different seasons while quietly staying rooted. 🎍

Some friendships aren’t about how often you meet. They’re about how effortlessly you reconnect.

They don’t fade just because life is busy.

They simply wait… and then continue. 🌱

How about you? Who is someone you may not see often, but still feels steady in your life?
