Pause, losses and new beginnings.

It feels strange, sitting down to write again after so many months of obvious silence. But maybe that’s what makes this post necessary.. the pause, the grief, the chaos of life and now the attempt to pick up the words again.. ⌨️ I know, I posted a week ago but, this time it’s different. I really want to be back here. I am dedicated.

The truth is, a lot has happened. My mother passed away and that loss shifted my world in ways I’m still learning to navigate. It is not easy.

On top of that came the “busyness” — occasional traveling, handling government paperwork, legal matters, investments gone wrong and…. of course, raising a toddler who’s now attending school.

Life has been a blur of responsibilities, deadlines and emotions that didn’t always leave room for creativity.

But through all that, I’ve missed this space. 😌 I’ve missed writing. Katleya Notes was always meant to be my corner of the internet: a space for sharing my journey, whether it’s the messy, exhausting parts of motherhood, the joy of discovering something new or even just small recommendations about the things that make home life a little easier.

Moving forward, that’s what you can expect here again: posts about life as a mom, travels when they happen, honest reflections and little tips or finds that I think other moms (or anyone juggling too much at once) might find useful. I have a lot of ideas now and I have a lot of plans for this page. I just really hope that I will really be able to manage it properly this time. 🫣

On the side, I’ve also been rekindling my love for The Sims 4 — a fun, creative outlet that feels like a lighter way to express myself. I won’t be flooding this blog with The Sims content, but if you follow me elsewhere, you might see updates, builds or stories related to the game. Here, though, the heart of Katleya Notes will stay rooted in life, family, motherhood and the things that matter most to me.

So here’s to starting again. Thank you for being here.. even in my silence. 🥰
