There are people I once thought would always be in my life.
We shared so many moments that felt unshakable, memories I thought would last a lifetime. But with time, I realized that not everyone is meant to stay forever.
Some friends are seasonal.. here for a chapter, not the whole book.
And you know what? That’s okay!
It used to hurt, noticing the silence, the distance and how they quietly disappeared from my world. But now, I’ve come to see it differently. They were there for a reason, in a certain season and maybe that was exactly how it was meant to be.
✨ “People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you’ll know what to do.” — Unknown
Some brought laughter during hard times. Some gave me lessons I didn’t know I needed.. And some simply made life lighter, even if only for a while. Their absence doesn’t erase their impact.
I’m learning to hold gratitude more than grief.. I’m really thankful that they were part of my journey, even if just in passing. Because every person leaves something behind, a little piece that shaped who I am today.
💭 “Some people arrive and make such a beautiful impact on your life, you can barely remember what life was like without them.”
Seasons change, people change and that’s part of life. And instead of clinging to who left, I choose to cherish the fact that they were once here. 🌸
